New Delhi, May 7 -- The Ministry of External Affairs has strongly rejected a statement issued by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Group in New York regarding the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
Responding to media queries, MEA Official Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal called the OIC's remarks "absurd" for refusing to acknowledge the facts surrounding the attack and its cross-border linkages. He stated that the statement was issued at Pakistan's behest and represents yet another attempt by a country known for fostering cross-border terrorism to mislead the international community and manipulate the OIC platform for its own agenda.
