New Delhi, Jan. 21 -- Union Minister of Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' said that the condition in Jawaharlal Nehru University is returning back to normalcy. Adding further, he said that the demand of JNU students concerning the issue of hostel fee hike has been met and the calls for the removal of the university's Vice Chancellor M. Jagadesh Kumar are now unreasonable.

Reiterating the same, the Union Minister said, "The basic demand of students about the hostel fees hike has been met. The calls for JNU VC's removal now are not reasonable, removing anybody is not the solution."
