New Delhi, Sept. 18 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, speaking at the Hyderabad Liberation Day event on 17 September 2025, stated that Operation Sindoor, the 2016 Surgical Strike, and the 2019 Balakot Air Strike prove that India's patience is its strength, not weakness, and hard power is employed when dialogue fails.

He highlighted that while terrorists killed innocent citizens in Pahalgam based on their dharma, the Indian Armed Forces acted decisively in Pakistan & PoK during Operation Sindoor based on their karma. He reiterated that the operation is only on hold and can resume if cross-border terrorism continues. He also stressed that India rejects third-party intervention in its internal security matters.
