New Delhi, March 28 -- In an attempt to be immediately available for the country's services amid the ongoing battle against the deadly Coronavirus pandemic, a body of foreign-trained Indian MBBS doctors on Friday, March 27, said that they have appealed to the government of India to exempt them from a mandatory licensure exam and offer help amid the virus battle.

The All India Foreign Medical Graduates Association (AIFMGA), in its letter to the government, claimed that the move will add around 20,000 MBBS doctors and 1,000 specialists in the medical workforce in fight against the deadly virus.
