New Delhi, Feb. 25 -- The first session of the new Delhi Legislative Assembly began on February 24, 2024. On Day 1 of the session, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and newly elected ministers took the oath of membership.

Delhi chief minister Rekha Gupta and her six cabinet ministers were sworn in as MLAs in the House. Newly elected MLAs Kapil Mishra (BJP) took oath in Sanskrit, Sanjeev Jha (AAP) in Maithili and Manjinder Singh Sirsa (BJP) in Punjabi.
