New Delhi, Feb. 12 -- The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has successfully completed major overhauling work on escalators at five metro stations, restoring services on February 11, 2026.

According to the official update, escalator services have resumed at Akshardham and New Ashok Nagar stations from Ground to Concourse level. In addition, escalators at Noida Sector-15 (Ground to Concourse), Noida Sector-16 (Platform-1 to Concourse), and Noida Sector-18 (Platform-1 to Concourse) are now fully operational.

On January 29, Delhi Metro had issued an advisory regarding maintenance works and temporary non-functionality of escalators on these metro stations.
