New Delhi, April 16 -- The notification for the sixth phase of Lok Sabha election to be conducted on May 12 in 59 seats across seven states was on Tuesday issued by the Election Commission.
Began on April 11, the seven-phase Lok Sabha polls will end on May 19. Uttar Pradesh will undergo polls in all the seven phases of general election.
Delhi with all of its seven seats will undergo polls in the sixth phase.
The process of filing nominations has begun with the issuance of notification. The last date to file nominations is April 24, while scrutiny will be done on April 24. April 26 is the last date to withdraw nominations.
The poll for the sixth phase will be conducted on May 12.
