New Delhi, March 6 -- Of late the Pak-Afghanistan conflict has split into the open. Pakistan's recent air strikes on militants' sanctuaries inside Afghanistan have inflamed the border rhetoric once again. While Pakistan parrots about its sovereignty on territories bordering Afghanistan, Kabul persists with its claim on Pashtun areas.
Pakistan targeted the training camps of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Afghanistan soil on December 4, 2024. The Afghan Interim Government (AIG) of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Afghanistan (TTA) refuses to rein in the TTP, dismissing Pakistan's allegation that the TTP is using Afghanistan's soil to mount attacks inside Pakistan.
