New Delhi, Sept. 5 -- The Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) of DRDO has transferred three advanced materials technologies to industry partners, strengthening indigenous capabilities in strategic defence applications. The Licensing Agreements for Transfer of Technology (LAToT) were handed over by DRDO Chairman and Secretary, Department of Defence R&D, Dr. Samir V. Kamat, at an event in Hyderabad on August 30.

The technologies transferred include high-strength radomes to BHEL, Jagdishpur, which will enable the production of protective covers for missile sensors to support key defence programmes and enhance self-reliance in missile systems.
