New Delhi, Oct. 30 -- External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met with a delegation from the European Parliament's Committee on International Trade (INTA) in New Delhi to discuss ways to deepen economic and strategic cooperation between India and the European Union.

The discussions focused on enhancing economic convergence, stabilizing the global economy, and strengthening democratic partnerships through closer India-EU engagement. Dr. Jaishankar emphasized that the early conclusion of the India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) could play a significant role in realizing these shared goals.
