New Delhi, July 15 -- External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar held a bilateral meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister and CPC Politburo Member Wang Yi on July 14, 2025, in Beijing as part of his ongoing visit to China. The two leaders reviewed the current state of India-China relations and acknowledged recent efforts to stabilize and rebuild bilateral ties. They emphasized enhancing people-centric engagements, especially in view of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Dr. Jaishankar appreciated China's cooperation in resuming the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and discussed additional measures to promote people-to-people exchanges, such as easing travel and improving direct flight connectivity.
