Soder emphasized the need for deeper collaboration and free trade during his ongoing visit to India, citing India's growing global importance amid unstable international trade relations and tariff disruptions.

Soder reiterated Bavaria's strong support for a comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the European Union and India. Key areas of focus included the automotive industry, defense and security cooperation, and high-end technology partnerships.
