New Delhi, Oct. 18 -- Delhi University (DU) has constituted a six-member inquiry committee to investigate the alleged assault on a teacher at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar College by Deepika Jha, Joint Secretary of the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) and a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
According to an official statement issued by the university, the committee will be headed by Professor Neeta Sehgal of the Zoology Department. Vice-Chancellor Professor Yogesh Singh has directed the committee to submit its report within two weeks.
