New Delhi, March 8 -- Delhi transport minister Kailash Gahlot has urged those at public places like malls, hotels, and market complexes to install more charging points for electric vehicles (EVs)

He informed that with 72 charging stations already operational in the capital city, Delhi has the highest number of charging stations for EVs than in any Indian city.

Gahlot said the "Delhi government is in the process of setting up additional 100 EV charging stations with a total of 500 charging points in the next six months".
