New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- Delhi Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra announced that the Delhi government is developing the city as a cultural capital.

In a high-level meeting with senior officials from the Arts and Culture Department, plans were finalized to celebrate the centuries-old tradition of 'Phoolwalon Ki Sair' in a grand manner.

The week-long festival will feature cultural performances, Qawwali, folk music, and colorful tableaux, showcasing Delhi's rich heritage and vibrant traditions.Phool Waalon Ki Sair meaning "procession of the florists" is an annual celebration by the flower sellers of Delhi.
