New Delhi, Oct. 15 -- With Delhi's average Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 211 ('Poor' category) on October 14 2025, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) Sub-Committee on GRAP has invoked Stage-I of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) across the entire National Capital Region (NCR) with immediate effect. The move follows the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) bulletin, which placed Delhi's overall air quality in the "Poor" range (AQI between 201 and 300). The Sub-Committee met to review the current air quality conditions and decided to implement all measures under Stage-I to prevent further deterioration.
