New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- Delhi Metro has been conferred with the country's highest Rajbhasha award, the "Kirti Puraskar" (First Prize), for its outstanding performance in the implementation of the official language policy.

The award was presented on 14 September 2025 at the Hindi Diwas celebrations and All India Rajbhasha Conference held in Gandhinagar. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah presented the honour to Delhi Metro's Managing Director, Dr. Vikas Kumar.

On the occasion, Ajit Sharma, Director (Finance) and Vice-Chairman of Delhi Metro Rajbhasha Implementation Committee, along with the Rajbhasha officer and employees, were also present.https://x.com/OfficialDMRC/status/1967216940814062043/photo/2
