New Delhi, Feb. 5 -- Vinai Kumar Saxena, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, has conveyed his serious apprehensions about the deplorable condition of hospitals under the city government in a letter dated February 3 to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Saxena cited media reports and emphasized the Delhi High Court's remarks on the poor condition of government hospitals.

In response, Kejriwal acknowledged the letter and called for the replacement of Delhi's health and finance secretaries, citing their "non-compliance and refusal" to follow ministers' directives.
