New Delhi, Dec. 27 -- Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinai Kumar Saxena virtually launched the Online Parole Management System for Delhi Prisons, marking a significant step towards digital governance in prison administration.

The digitally enabled system has been developed under the Integrated Criminal Justice System (ICJS) through the e-Prisons application, with technical support from the National Informatics Centre (NIC). It aims to streamline, standardise and monitor the entire cycle of parole applications in a transparent and time-bound manner.
