New Delhi, Dec. 22 -- The Delhi Jal Board has announced a Late Payment Surcharge Waiver Scheme, offering major relief to consumers who clear their pending water bills within the stipulated timelines.

Under the scheme, 100% waiver of late payment surcharge will be granted if the outstanding bill is paid on or before January 31, 2026. 70% waiver of late fees will be applicable if the bill is paid between February 1 and March 31, 2026.
