New Delhi, Dec. 16 -- The Delhi government has decided to digitally transform the entire framework related to agriculture and farmers. Under the Central Government's Special Assistance to the States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme, farmers in Delhi will be provided with digital identification, a State Farmers' Registry will be created, and geo-mapping of agricultural land will be undertaken. Based on the progress of this work, phased financial assistance will be provided by the Central Government.
