New Delhi, Dec. 30 -- Delhi government has suspended Sub-Registrar of Kapas Hera and the Tehsildar of Mehrauli taking cognizance of the multiple complaints against them,

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta wrote on X: " The Sub-Registrar of Kapas Hera and the Tehsildar of Mehrauli have been suspended with immediate effect. This step has been taken based on continuous complaints received and serious allegations of corruption. Additionally, the license of a deed writer posted in Kapas Hera has also been revoked."

Stressing firm accountability, the Chief Minister stated that officers who interact directly with citizens must perform their responsibilities with integrity, transparency, and empathy.
