New Delhi, Oct. 13 -- The Delhi Government has launched a new initiative titled the "Innovation Challenge", aimed at finding effective and low-cost technological solutions to tackle air pollution in the capital.
Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa announced that individuals, startups, research institutions, and technical experts across the country can participate by presenting their working prototypes with supporting photos or videos.
The challenge focuses on identifying innovations that can reduce emissions of PM 2.5 and PM 10 from old vehicles, construction sites, and industrial units. Proposals will be evaluated on innovation, originality, feasibility, environmental impact, and cost-effectiveness.
