New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the Delhi government and all departments are fully alert, with round-the-clock monitoring of the situation. She noted that the extensive desilting of the Yamuna and drains carried out over the past six months is now showing clear results. All gates are open, water is not stagnating anywhere, and the flow remains smooth despite the heavy inflow.
On 1st September 2025, Divisional Commissioner Delhi, Sh. Neeraj Semwal (IAS), along with District Magistrate (North-East) Sh. Ajay Kumar and District Magistrate (East) Sh. Amol Shrivastav, inspected the flood-affected areas of the city.
