New Delhi, Aug. 27 -- Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) President Devender Yadav, along with Media and Communication Department Chairman Anil Bhardwaj, addressed a press conference. Yadav highlighted key issues troubling the people of Delhi, including shortage of buses, toll collection on the Urban Extension Road (UER), and the rise in metro fares. He alleged that despite growing public concerns, the BJP government remains indifferent to the problems faced by citizens.
Yadav said that during tenure of Congress rule in Delhi, , metro fares were never increased. The party accused both AAP and BJP governments of burdening the common people by raising fares, and demanded that the recent hike be rolled back immediately.
