Delhi government
has successfully conducted the
first cloud seeding trial
to induce
artificial rainfall
in the capital. Preparations for this innovative step - aimed at combating pollution and improving air quality - have now been completed.
According to the Chief Minister, a
successful test
was carried out by experts in the
Burari area
, marking the beginning of a new era of technological intervention for environmental management. The
India Meteorological Department (IMD)
has forecast cloud presence on
October 28, 29, and 30
,
and if weather conditions remain favourable,
Delhi will experience its first artificial rain on October 29
.
