New Delhi, Dec. 9 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited the historic Shri Ram Tirath (Bhagwan Valmiki Teerath Sthal) in Amritsar, describing it as a sacred site deeply connected with India's civilizational heritage. She noted that the location is believed to be the ancient ashram of Maharishi Valmiki, where Mata Sita took refuge and where Luv-Kush were born. Gupta said that Amritsar beautifully reflects the harmony of Sanatan traditions, Sikh heritage and cultural unity, symbolised by the spiritual lineage of Sri Harmandir Sahib and the historical value of Ram Tirath.
