New Delhi, Jan. 23 -- Delhi Chief Rekha Gupta laid down foundation stone of the Dry Munak Canal, development of Chhath Ghat, construction of a service road, and the widening and beautification of Singhalpur Bridge in the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency.

"Our festivals like Chhath Puja, Durga Puja, and Ganesh Puja are our identity. This new Chhath Ghat will become a center for people's faith, traditions, and culture. The rejuvenation of the Dry Munak Canal will develop this area into a clean, beautiful, and useful public space," Rekha Gupta said.
