New Delhi, Dec. 23 -- A high-level meeting was convened at the Delhi Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta regarding pollution control.
Clear directives were issued to the concerned departments in the meeting that the system of issuing challans for vehicles without valid PUC certificates will continue strictly. No leniency of any kind will be granted in this matter.
According to a statement by the Delhi Chief Minister's Office (CMO)To reduce the use of private vehicles, discussions will be held with aggregator companies like Ola and Uber, so that pool and share bus services can be launched and the pressure of vehicles on the roads can be reduced.
