New Delhi, Feb. 12 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta marked the death anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya by announcing scholarships for more than 15,000 children of construction workers across the national capital.
The financial assistance is being extended to students studying in 857 schools in Delhi, with the government releasing over Rs.12.40 crore for the initiative. The Chief Minister said the move reflects the government's commitment to supporting the families of labourers who contribute to building the city.
