New Delhi, May 16 -- Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, in the presence of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, launched the supply of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connections to 111 villages in the national capital. The event took place in Dwarka and was organized by Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL).

The Delhi CM stated that the launch marks a significant stride in extending clean and reliable domestic energy to thousands of rural households. Rekha Gupta emphasized that this initiative will liberate families from the frequent hassles of LPG cylinder refills, transportation burdens, and irregular gas supply.
