New Delhi, July 4 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the Van Mahotsav 2025 today at Bharat Mandapam, marking the start of Delhi's ambitious green initiative for the year. Organised by the Delhi Government, the event underscored the city's commitment to building a greener and cleaner capital.

As part of the initiative, the government has set a target to plant 70 lakh trees and shrubs across the city, aimed at improving air quality and enhancing environmental awareness among citizens. Speaking at the event, CM Gupta appealed to Delhiites to actively participate in the plantation drive and contribute to the creation of a "clean, beautiful, and safe Delhi."
