New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta granted an approval to a budget of Rs.728 crore for the development of Trans-Yamuna.

The Delhi CM said that for the past 27 years, the needs of Trans-Yamuna have been neglected, and development has stagnated. Now, equal and decisive participation of Trans-Yamuna is being ensured in the construction of a developed Delhi. Every basic facility, such as better roads, robust waste management, strong sewer lines, and organized traffic management, will be provided in mission mode.

In the meeting held at the Delhi Secretariat, Cabinet colleague Kapil Mishra , Chairman of the Trans-Yamuna Area Development Board, and MLA Arvinder Singh Lovely. along with other board members, were present.
