New Delhi, Jan. 2 -- On the directions of the Delhi government, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has intensified pollution control measures across the city, a move praised by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.

According to Chief Minister, mist spray systems have already been activated at 37 metro stations to help curb dust and air pollution. She said that mist sprays are also being installed at elevated stations and stations located along major roads, with the entire exercise targeted for completion by January 20.

DMRC has also deployed 83 anti-smog guns at metro construction sites, which are already operational. In addition, 20 more anti-smog guns are being added to further strengthen pollution mitigation efforts at ongoing project loc...
