New Delhi, Dec. 24 -- Delhi Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, approved three major decisions aimed at strengthening public services, environmental protection, and sustainable urban development.

From 1 April 2026, all government bus services in the national capital will be operated exclusively by the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC). Services currently run by DIMTS will be discontinued. The move is expected to streamline bus operations, improve punctuality, enhance connectivity, and provide commuters with a more efficient and convenient public transport system.
