New Delhi, March 10 -- Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta has directed the concerned departments to ensure the timely allocation of offices to newly elected MLAs so that they can focus on matters related to their constituencies.

As per protocol, constituency offices allotted to former MLAs were vacated following the assembly elections held in February.

A statement issued by the Assembly Secretariat mentioned that since the newly elected MLAs have now taken their oaths, the process of allocating new offices has commenced to facilitate smooth legislative and constituency-related activities.
