New Delhi, March 28 -- Lauding the efforts taken by the government of India, the government at the Centre, on Saturday, March 28, said that country's response to the deadly Coronavirus have been pro-active, pre-emptive and graded. Adding further, it said that much before the World Health Organization declared it as a public health emergency of international concern, India has already put into force a comprehensive response system at its borders.
Suspension of visas, ban on international flights and screening of incoming air passengers was put in place in India much before any other country. Also self quarantine measures to effectively contain, prevent and manage the spread of the disease were taken care of since the very beginning.
