New Delhi, Jan. 14 -- Chief Minister of Delhi Rekha Gupta said the Delhi government's efforts to tackle the decades-old problem of waterlogging are not limited to the monsoon season but are being pursued year-round through a systematic and sustained approach.
The Chief Minister said the government is working to develop a robust drainage system on a continuous basis. As part of this effort, construction of four major trunk drains is underway at a war footing.
According to CM Rekha Gupta,the Kirari-Mundka Halt-Supplementary Drain will provide relief from waterlogging in West Delhi, while the MB Road storm water drain will mark the largest-ever overhaul of the drainage system in South Delhi. The Kirari-Rithala trunk drain is expected to of...
