New Delhi, Dec. 7 -- The grand old party, Congress is gearing up to make out a strategy before the Union government tables the Citizenship Bill next week. The government at the Centre is likely to move the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019, in the Parliament.
The party has called a meeting of senior Congress leaders to discuss over the bill, that will be attended by Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Anand Sharma Kapil Sibal, Ahmed Patel and Manish Tewari among others.
The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019, and the Personal Data Protection Bill among other nine bills are likely to be tabled in the Lower House of the Parliament for passage in the last week of the Winter Session of the Parliament.
