New Delhi, April 25 -- The Congress Working Committee (CWC) has expressed deep sorrow and unequivocal condemnation of the horrific terror attack that occurred on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack claimed the lives of 26 innocent tourists and left more than 20 others critically injured.
In a strongly worded resolution passed during its meeting, the CWC described the attack as a "cowardly and premeditated" act, allegedly orchestrated from across the border in Pakistan. The Committee emphasized that the deliberate targeting of Hindu civilians appeared to be a calculated attempt to incite communal discord across the country.
