New Delhi, Nov. 15 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta conducted an inspection tour of the Tehkhand and Tughlakabad areas to review the progress of the citywide cleanliness drive currently underway across the capital. She also inspected proposed waste-collection points and fixed compactor sites aimed at strengthening Delhi's waste-management infrastructure.
During the visit, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure strict, timely, and efficient waste management, especially at hotspots where garbage accumulation is a recurring concern. She emphasised regular cleaning, along with focused measures such as dust control, wall-to-wall road sweeping, mechanical sweeping, water sprinkling, and swift garbage disposal.
