New Delhi, Jan. 13 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta performed jalabhishek and offered prayers at the sacred Hanuman Temple located at Kirori Mal College on the occasion of Somnath Swabhiman Parv.

The Chief Minister said that Somnath Swabhiman Parv is not merely a festival, but a remembrance of India's thousand-year-long unbroken journey of faith, cultural resurgence and Sanatan consciousness. She noted that witnessing pride and reverence for this heritage among the youth further strengthens belief in India's resurgence on the global stage with its cultural glory.
