New Delhi, Dec. 6 -- The Government of India has taken swift and urgent steps to tackle the widespread disruption in flight operations, particularly those affecting Indigo Airlines, Minister of Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu announced on Friday. Speaking through an official statement, he said that the Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL) orders issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) have been put on hold with immediate effect. The move, he clarified, has been made without compromising air safety, solely in the interest of passengers - especially senior citizens, students, patients and travellers with urgent needs.
