New Delhi, Jan. 9 -- Citing personal reasons, Justice Dilip B Bhosale, nine months after his appointment to the constitutional post, tendered his resignation as member of the country's anti-corruption ombudsman Lokpal.

Coming from a family of freedom fighters, Justice Bhosale, 63, has served as Judge of the High Courts of Bombay and Karnataka. Also, he has served as acting Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for 15 months (2015-16) for the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
