In yet another bid to establish its firm control over what gets disseminated on online platforms, China has now made it mandatory for bloggers to have government approved credentials before publishing anything. Bloggers now need an approval before the Cyberspace Administration of China. The Cyberspace Administration of China is the central internet regulator, censor, oversight, and control agency for the People's Republic of China.
