New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- With the approval of Delhi Metro's Phase V(A) corridors, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has announced that Central Secretariat Metro Station will emerge as a triple interchange hub, significantly improving network integration and passenger convenience across the National Capital Region.
At present, Central Secretariat serves as a key interchange between the Yellow Line and the Violet Line, catering to thousands of daily commuters heading to Central Delhi's office districts. Under Phase V(A), the station will also be connected to the Magenta Line extension along the Central Vista Corridor (R.K. Ashram Marg-Indraprastha), making it one of the most strategically important nodes in the metro network.
