New Delhi, Nov. 15 -- In an attempt to combat the menace of child porn on the Internet, the Central Bureau of Investigation has formulated an online Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (OCSAE) Prevention/Investigation Unit at its headquarter, said the officials.

This comes as a proactive step of the central agency to counter the increasing menace of child porn.

The "specialised unit" formed under the special crime investigation wing of the agency will be tasked to collect intelligence on those who are allegedly creating and transmitting such material on the Internet and also on those who browse and download such material, the officials added.
