New Delhi, April 19 -- In the early hours of April 19, 2025, a four-storey residential building collapsed in the Shakti Vihar area of Mustafabad, northeast Delhi, resulting in at least four fatalities. Emergency services, including the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Delhi Fire Services, and local police, have rescued 14 individuals from the debris. However, authorities estimate that 8 to 10 people may still be trapped beneath the rubble.

The incident occurred around 3:00 AM, with the building collapsing suddenly. CCTV footage from a nearby alley captured the moment of collapse, showing a sudden spark followed by a thick cloud of dust enveloping the area.
