New Delhi, July 3 -- India, on Thursday, July 2, recorded biggest single-day spike in Coronavirus cases with close to 21,000 cases, as per the government data released by the Union Health Ministry. The number of COVID -19 cases has been surging in the country even as it continues to undergo the 'unlock' mode to revive the sagging economy.

There has been a rise of 20,903 cases and 379 deaths in the past 24 hours, said the latest bulletin released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, as per which, the overall tally of COVID-19 cases in the country has surpassed 6,50,000.
