New Delhi, Aug. 21 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the attack on her during a public grievance hearing was not just directed at her personally but at her government's commitment to serve the people of Delhi.

In a statement, CM Gupta described the incident as a "cowardly attempt" and said she was initially in shock but is now feeling better. She appealed to her well-wishers not to trouble themselves by visiting her and assured that she would soon be seen working among the people again.
